Ew! My old mouse-drawn b/w oekaki is still up as the club's ID? This will NOT do. Therefore I request of you, you lovely lovely people, to draw an ID for the club. Anything goes: digital, traditional, color, black and white--as long as it features Heero and Duo (preferably in a somewhat intimate situation), it shall be entered!! Just note me with the link, and I will be ecstatic to put it up for you. No deadline in sight, but when entries start to come in, I'll announce it.

And prizes...? Hmm. There will be groveling, much appreciation, many compliments, and a place in the Hall of Fame. When I get around to building it. I imagine it will look something like the Parthenon... except cooler. But until then, there will be a lame cyberspace version in the form of a journal, which will be featured on this page. Whoever goes into the Hall of Fame will never be taken down. Second place will also receive their place in the HoF. Don't YOU want to be in the Hall of Fame? YOU GOTTA PARTICIPATE!!

Any of your 1x2 or 2x1 art, or just pictures of Heero or Duo, PLEASE SUBMIT THEM. Even if it's old, been sitting in your gallery forever, or you haven't even uploaded yet. Fanfiction of course is MORE than welcome as well. Even if I've already faved it, I'd still like to feature it. Submitting it means I get to reupload it, which means more people get to see this club as well as your page. All props to you of course. ^^

Hi! This club is dedicated to everyone's favorite GW couple, Heero and Duo. If you like Gundam Wing and you never get tired of the already abundant amount of fanwork dedicated to this pairing, this club is the place for you.

This place is brand new, and members would be appreciated. ALL fanwork will be hosted on this page, including art and fiction. As soon as things get more organized, hopefully there will be contests to participate in, as well as other fun things that will make this community worthwhile.

JOINING THE CLUB

Simply put the club on your watch list. When I see that you've added us to your friend's list, I will automatically add you as a member of the club. HOWEVER, if you want to watch the club but not be counted as a member, please send a note explaining this, and I will take you off. Very simple, no?

Once artwork starts getting hosted, a link will be provided to the original. If you want to comment or fave, please do so for the original art.

We will take any art that doesn't violate DA's policy of nudity and sexual content. Nobody wants to get banned, but we all like the juicy stuff.

RULES

This page is dedicated to a homosexual relationship between two young MEN, so of course there will be homosexual themes within this club. If you don't like it, leave. Or leave flames. I've never been flamed before, I might find it amusing.

When it comes to fanart, 1x2x1 art is encouraged most (either 1x2 or 2x1, up to you completely). However, I will also accept art of Heero or Duo singularly as well. BUT I do ask that you do not submit art of other pairings; such as 1xR, 3x4, etc...

NO BASHING! I don't care how much you hate Relena, please be nice to her. That's not to say your art/fiction can't feature her being sad... but please, nothing centered on Relena being tied to a stake and burned by a dancing Duo.

SUBMITTING

The process is simple. Just send a note to this account (subject line saying "Submissions" or the like), containing a link to the art you want to be featured, and any additional comments. If no comments, I'll simply copy and paste what's written for the original. An original link will be added for comments and faves. And I'll give you a big wet kiss. That or get your favorite bishounen to do it.

TERMS AND MEANINGS

For those curious and a little confused, here's a rundown of some words you might see on this page...

Yaoi: A very popular word that has started to lose its meaning. Literally, yaoi is a Japanese acronym that means "yama nashi, ocha nashi, imi nashi." It roughly translates to something we would call "PWP," or Porn Without Plot. Nowadays, and especially in North America, yaoi has come to mean any story or art that features male/male relationships.

Shounen ai: Literally boy (shounen) love (ai). This usually means fluffier stuff, cute stories and drawings of boys.

Slash: A broad term, at least at this site, that means male/male relationships. A North American word, usually used for North American series/movies/stories.

1x2/2x1/1x2x1: I suppose someday a very organized individual decided to sit down and invent a coherent system for naming the numerous pairings popular in the hit anime Gundam Wing. The numbers correlate to the pilots; 1 = Heero, 2 = Duo, 3 = Trowa, 4 = Quatre, 5 = Wufei. The first number or letter in the pairing is associated with whoever is "dominant," the second whoever is "submissive." Therefore, 1x2 means art or a story depicting Heero as dominant over Duo, 2x1=vice versa, and 1x2x1 means either. Got it? Heh.

1+2/2+1/1+2+1: The same as above, only the "+" symbol implies a "fluffy" relationship, whereas the "x" usually implies something sexual. In simpler terms, you could say that 1x2 is yaoi while 1+2 is shounen ai.

Bishounen: Beautiful boy. Likewise, bishoujo means beautiful girl. Not that anybody cares about beautiful girls here. Hee.
